Carol K. Taylor, Founder and Executive Director

Carol volunteered as a Auxiliary Police Officer and worked with the New York City Police Department as a Law Enforcement Officer; retiring in good standing.  She received training with the Intelligence Division as a Dignitary Security Detective. Carol attended John Jay College of Criminal Justice completing her BA in Forensic Psychology. Carol K. Taylor is the author of "Behind the Fence," a children's picture book promoting safety and assertiveness.


Leslie H. Myers, Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer

After twenty years of service,  Leslie retired from the New York City Police Department as an Officer in good standings, and has been retired for the past thirteen years.
Married and the mother of five (5) children ranging in ages from thirteen to twenty two she has been able to spend a lot of her free time volunteering in the schools her children has and are presently attending. She has held an active position as an executive board member of the PTA in one or more of the schools her children has and still attend for over fifteen years.  She has received numerous service awards. Leslie H. Myers is also an active member of her church and belongs to a morning ladies bowling league. Throughout the season, she travels with her daughters track club to track meets throughout the country.


Joe C. Lin,  Advisor

Joe Lin is a digital marketing entrepreneur with 18+ years of experience spanning roles in digital marketing and enterprise technology.  He has held leadership roles within the publishing, recruitment, and manufacturing industries.

Mr. Lin holds a B.S.E. in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan and a M.B.A. from New York University. Mr. Lin boasts a unique resume that spans a variety of industries and company sizes.  He started his career as a SAP developer with IBM Global Services after graduating from the University of Michigan.  From there he joined startup, iWon.com, where he was part of an innovative team developing new digital advertising products. In 2003, Mr. Lin joined Time Inc., where he first took on a leadership role in marketing technology.  His most recent enterprise experience was with Pall Corporation, where he focused on the company's digital strategy.  In between, Joe also worked at Newsweek and The Ladders as a technology executive. Joe Lin spends his free time with his family and enjoys the fine arts.  His most recent hobby is photography using his Apple iPhone.
